This collection will feature early account books, diaries, and journals from the collections of the State Archives and the Connecticut State Library.

Aerial Photographs of Connecticut

In 1934 Connecticut became the first state to complete a statewide aerial survey. The State Library has several aerial surveys of the entire state, along with some partial surveys, and has put the 1934, 1938 (partial survey), and 1965 surveys online.

Souvenir booklets issued to Connecticut servicemen being discharged from the armed forces at the conclusion of World War II.

Courts

A small sample of court documents from the mid-eighteenth to the mid-nineteenth centuries primarily involving New London County African Americans. These documents were digitized as a pilot project and there are no immediate plans to add to this collection.

NEW April 24, 2012: Adobe has released a fix for the bug with release 10.1.3 of Adobe Reader. Users with auto-updating should already have the fix. The link below explains more.

BUG ALERT Mar. 20, 2012: PDF files may not open properly in Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer users may see only a grey screen when trying to open PDF files. This is due to a bug with Adobe Reader version 10.1.2. You should not have this problem with other browsers.

This link to the Adobe site , explains the problems and solutions for continuing to work in Internet Explorer. Adobe plans to include a fix in their next quarterly release, presumably in April.
